SCOUT @ Quarters D recently celebrated their one year anniversary and took that milestone as an opportunity to launch a new and exciting website that captures the unique design flair of the home furnishing, fixture, gift and design store at NTC @ Liberty Station. Taking a cue from the original blueprints discovered in the basement of this historic home, Paul Scott Silvera envisioned a site that focused on “A Blueprint for a Life with Style” featuring a floor plan concept that travels through the various rooms of this 4,000 square-foot mercantile.
The site was developed by iNETinitiatives; a web project management, strategy & development agency based in San Diego and Barcelona.
“Our mandate in developing the new website was to translate the unique approach to design, color and merchandising which permeates all aspects of the Scout brand into a digital destination,” explained Anji Taylor, project manager.
“SCOUT’s passion for layering elements – furniture pieces both vintage and new, textures, materials, colors and artifacts – inspired us to put the visitor’s visual experience at the forefront.”
“Lush photography and an illustrative style that captures a pre-World War II design aesthetic is combined with modern web development techniques that support dynamic slideshows, image galleries and comprehensive blogging,” added Taylor.
